Riesling is extremely receptive to its growing location and shows the characteristics in which it is grown with clarity – some might even say more so than Pinot Noir (gasp!). Our Riesling receives no oak or significant aging to modify its original character. This Riesling expresses the rocky soils and windswept slope on which it was grown.

Tasting Notes
Light straw yellow in color. The nose is intensely rich and heady; with distinct notes of honeysuckle, overripe mango, and guava. The palate attack is strikingly vibrant and assertively crisp on the outset, with a touch of sweetness as an afterthought. The finish is vibrant, texturally substantial, and addictive.
Vintage Notes
The 2022 vintage was a rollercoaster of a season. The season began with a frost event that affected many parts of the Willamette Valley. Our Estate was spared on account of our later than average budburst date, but most feared the lost of their entire crop. Ample spring rains followed and contributed to bountiful yields across the Valley. We were then graced with one of the the longest seasons in over a decade, one that lasted well into October with sunshine and 80F days. It was an astonishing vintage and a winemaker’s dream.
