2022 Pinot Noir Symonette Vineyard

The Symonette Vineyard, planted in 1987, graces a gentle slope in the southwest corner of the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. Discovered by our winemaker, Rachel Rose, in 2008 after tasting it from another producer’s barrels, its rare and elusive qualities left a lasting impression. When the opportunity to purchase a small quantity of fruit from this site arose many years later, it felt a dream come true. Though we were only able to secure four rows of grapes, enough for just two barrels, the resulting wine is a stunning reflection of this storied site.
