Black Glass Tasting
This is a great way to reboot your palate and really refine what you’re looking forward to in a wine.
Whether we want to admit it or not, subconsciously, we make decisions about wine by the way it looks and by its name. By tasting wine in black glasses, we are reminded that all wine shares a common origin in the fruit. You may think that tannins will give away which wine is white and which one is red. But, a barrel-aged white wine will pick up tannins. When tasted against a mature red, whose tannins have softened, you might not be able to tell the difference.
If you’re someone someone who “never” drinks this wine or that wine, then this tasting can open your mind to a broader wine experience. You may discover a new passion for a wine you never considered, or you may re-discover that “starter” wine you gave up long ago.
Ticket price includes wine education and a blind tasting of 5 wines.
